Carlos Michan, founder of Strata
Equity Group, Inc. currently serves as Chief Executive Officer
and Chairman. He earned a Bachelors degree in Engineering from
UNAM (Universidad Autonoma de Mexico). He is licensed as a real
estate broker in California. With three decades of real estate
industry experience, Mr. Michan is the visionary behind the company’s
growth. He has overseen more than $1 billion worth of land investments
and property management projects during the last 20 years. He
is a member of Comite Empresarial Mexicano and the Urban Land
Institute.
David Michan holds the position
of President of Strata Equity Group. He earned his Masters
of Science in Real Estate from the University of San Diego. He
holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Economics, with a specialization
in Latin America and Accounting, from the University of California,
Los Angeles. Mr. Michan has been actively engaged in the development,
brokerage and investment aspects of real estate since 1999. He
is a licensed real estate broker in California. Mr. Michan is
responsible for the acquisition, financing, operations, processing,
entitling and disposition of the company’s projects. He
has been a member of the Urban Land Institute since 2003.
Mark Cheeseman serves as the
company’s Chief Financial Officer. He attended Empire State
College in Upstate New York. With 15 years of experience in the
real estate industry, he is responsible for overseeing all administrative
functions of the company, including financial reporting, human
resource management, and information technology. Additionally,
Mr. Cheeseman supervises the management of Strata Equity Group’s
apartment holdings.
Eric Flodine serves as the Vice
President of Community Planning. He earned a Masters of Urban
and Regional Planning from Cal Poly Pomona and a Bachelor of Landscape
Architecture from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Mr. Flodine oversees
the visioning, land planning, entitlement processing and community
outreach aspects of the company’s master planned communities.
He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and the American Planning
Association.
