Social Responsibility

Our future master planned communities are designed specifically to minimize energy and water consumption and maximize the quality of the community.  Featuring electrical usage designs including solar systems and low level lighting and water efficiency measures that incorporate low water landscapes and low flow fixtures, our livable communities will not only accommodate the United States' ever growing population but will also minimize the impact of this growth on the environment.

Strata has installed a solar energy plant atop one of our self storage facilities in Southern California with a second one in the pipeline.  This solar power source provides over 90% of the facility's energy needs and eliminates more than 6,000 pounds per month of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere versus energy from non-renewable sources.
